Expert Suggests Nancy Guthrie's Abduction May Be Retribution
Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC's Today co-host Savannah Guthrie, was abducted in what experts suggest could be a retribution act. Dr. Ann Burgess, a psychiatric nurse and researcher, indicated that Nancy Guthrie might not have been the intended target, suggesting that law enforcement would have explored connections to Savannah Guthrie. The investigation, led by Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, has been ongoing since Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on February 1, following her last sighting at home on January 31. Blood was found on her porch, and surveillance footage captured a masked suspect outside her door. Despite these leads, no suspect has been identified, and the motive remains undisclosed to preserve the investigation's integrity.
