Corona del Mar High Celebrates Graduating Class with Military and Academic Achievements
Corona del Mar High School recently held its commencement ceremony for the Class of 2026, where 358 graduates were celebrated for their achievements. The ceremony took place on the school's athletic field, attended by family and friends. A significant portion of the graduates, 95%, plan to continue their education at colleges, universities, or trade schools, while 5% have chosen to take a gap year, enter the workforce, or enlist in the armed forces. Notably, graduates Gracie Cowles, Damian Zeno-Herrera, Matisse Robertson, and Bentley Mott have committed to various branches of the U.S. military. The class collectively received over 250 honors, awards, and scholarships, amounting to more than $3 million. Principal Jake Haley praised the students for their contributions to the school and encouraged them to continue making a positive impact in the world.
