Nebraska State Patrol Conducts Commercial Vehicle Inspections in Dodge County, Citing Numerous Violations
The Nebraska State Patrol Carrier Enforcement Division, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Aggressive and Prevention Selective Team, conducted commercial vehicle inspections in Dodge County on Wednesday. During these inspections, 46 vehicles were examined, leading to the discovery of 187 safety regulation violations and state law infractions. As a result, 17 vehicles were placed out of service due to immediate safety risks such as faulty brakes or tires. Additionally, two drivers were placed out of service, and two arrests were made for outstanding warrants. Troopers issued a total of 27 citations and, conversely, issued 27 CVSA decals to vehicles that were found to have no immediate safety issues, indicating their compliance with safety standards.
