Pennsylvania Treasury Returns Over $115,000 in Unclaimed Property to 107th Legislative District Residents
Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity and State Representative JoAnne Stehr (R-107) announced the return of more than $115,000 in unclaimed property to residents of the 107th legislative district. This significant return follows recent unclaimed property events held at Rep. Stehr’s district offices in Northumberland and Schuylkill counties. Of the total amount, $102,751.65 was returned to Northumberland County residents and entities, while $12,490.88 went to those in Schuylkill County. Treasurer Garrity emphasized that returning unclaimed property is a core responsibility of the Treasury, and collaboration with legislative partners helps connect more Pennsylvanians with their rightful funds. Since taking office in 2021, Treasurer Garrity has overseen the return of over $1 billion in unclaimed property, including a record-breaking $334 million last year.
