Toledo Police Investigate Shooting at Old West End Festival, Multiple Injuries Reported
A shooting incident occurred near the Old West End Festival in Toledo, Ohio, resulting in at least 12 people being injured. The Toledo Police Department reported that the shooting took place shortly after 5:30 p.m. local time. Deputy Police Chief Joe Heffernan stated that there were likely at least two shooters involved, who appeared to be firing at each other. The victims, whose ages range from 14 to 61, were transported to local hospitals, with two individuals in critical condition. The police are actively investigating the incident, but no suspects have been apprehended yet. The Old West End Festival, now in its 53rd year, features a parade, food markets, and live music, attracting numerous attendees.
