Vanderbilt-Clarksville Hospital Bomb Threat Prompts Extensive Search, No Devices Found
Local law enforcement agencies responded to a bomb threat at Vanderbilt-Clarksville Hospital in Clarksville, Tennessee. The threat was reported on Sunday morning when a caller claimed that several pipe bombs had been placed around the hospital property. In response, the Clarksville Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Fire Rescue, and EMS established operations around the hospital campus. Officers conducted thorough searches of the building's entrances, trash cans, dumpsters, and the perimeter. Despite the extensive search, no explosive devices were found. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad was notified, and EMS diverted incoming transports to Sango ER while emergency personnel secured the area. The hospital remained on lockdown for a period, but administrators have since decided to resume normal operations.
