Ann Arbor Bus Drivers Demand New Contract Amid Ongoing Negotiations
Bus drivers of the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority have been working without a contract since the end of March. Represented by the Transport Workers Union, the drivers and mechanics have been in negotiations with The Ride, the local bus service, for nearly two months. The lack of a contract has raised concerns among the drivers about job security and working conditions. The union is advocating for better terms and conditions for its members, emphasizing the need for a fair and timely resolution to the contract dispute.
