Gal Gadot Dedicates $3 Million Genesis Prize Initiative to Israeli Mental Health Care
Israeli actress Gal Gadot, the 2026 recipient of the Genesis Prize, has dedicated her $1 million award to support mental health and trauma care in Israel. This initial sum has been augmented by a matching initiative involving the Jewish Funders Network and additional donors, raising the total to $3 million. This funding will be distributed among 24 Israeli nonprofit organizations. These organizations are focused on providing trauma treatment, mental health services, caregiver training, and social work programs to help Israelis recover from the psychological impacts of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack and subsequent conflicts.
