LMPD and FBI Successfully Recover Abducted Infant in Louisville
A six-month-old child abducted from West Lafayette, Indiana, was safely recovered in Louisville, Kentucky, on Thursday night. The West Lafayette Police Department, in collaboration with the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), FBI, and SWAT, coordinated the recovery operation. The child was found on a bus arriving at the Greyhound station, and the suspect, 22-year-old Jasmine O’Sullivan, was taken into custody. The child was taken to Norton Children’s Hospital for precautionary measures and later reunited with her family. O’Sullivan faces federal kidnapping charges, and the investigation is ongoing.
