Encompass Health to Build 50-Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho
Encompass Health Corp. has announced plans to construct a new 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Post Falls, Idaho. This facility will cater to patients recovering from severe illnesses and injuries, such as strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic issues. The hospital will offer 24-hour nursing care and various therapies, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, to aid in patient recovery and improve quality of life. The facility will feature private patient rooms, a large therapy gym, an activities of daily living suite, an in-house dialysis suite, a dining room, a pharmacy, and an outdoor therapy courtyard. The hospital is expected to open in 2028 and will be the second Encompass Health location in Idaho, joining an existing hospital in Boise.
