Ukrainian President Zelenskyy Reports Massive Power Outages Following Russian Strikes
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are without electricity due to recent Russian missile and drone attacks targeting the country's energy infrastructure. The attacks have affected multiple regions, including Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kherson, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Dnipro. Ukrainian officials report that Russia has intensified its focus on critical infrastructure as winter approaches, launching over 1,500 strike drones, 900 aerial bombs, and 46 missiles in the past week. Despite efforts to restore power, the situation remains dire, with ongoing attacks exacerbating the crisis.
