President Trump to Attend Dignified Transfer of Four U.S. Service Members Killed in Middle East
President Donald Trump is set to attend the dignified transfer of four U.S. service members who were killed in the Middle East. The ceremony will take place at Dover Air Force Base, where the remains of the soldiers will be returned to their families. This marks the third such ceremony attended by President Trump since the conflict with Iran began in February. The soldiers were killed in separate incidents involving Iranian missile and drone attacks in Jordan and Iraq. The Defense Department identified the soldiers as Tyler James Feehan, Isabella Gonzales, Angel S. Rampersad, and Michael Emmanuel Swinton. The dignified transfer is a solemn military ritual where the remains are carried from the aircraft to a vehicle for transport to a mortuary facility.
