Mental Health America Launches Young Leaders Council for 2026-2027
Mental Health America (MHA) has announced the opening of applications for its 2026-2027 Young Leaders Council (YLC), targeting young adults aged 18 to 25. The program aims to engage participants in national discussions and initiatives focused on youth mental health, employment, and financial well-being. Five young leaders will be selected for the nine-month program, which includes a $2,000 stipend, monthly virtual meetings, and a capstone project. Participants will also attend the Mental Health America Conference in Washington, D.C., with travel and lodging expenses covered. The application deadline is August 28, 2026.
