Mother with Severe Lung Disease Faces High-Risk Pregnancy Amidst Health Challenges
Ambrosia Howell, a 30-year-old resident of Idaho Falls, is battling stage 4 bronchiolitis obliterans, a rare and severe lung disease, while pregnant with her first child. Diagnosed last year, Ambrosia's condition has led to significant lung scarring, making it difficult for her to breathe. Her pregnancy, considered high-risk, has added complexity to her health situation. Ambrosia and her husband, Jasen, an army veteran, are preparing for the birth of their daughter, Aurora, while managing the challenges posed by her condition. Doctors have advised that Ambrosia will likely need a team of specialists during delivery due to the potential complications. The couple is also facing financial strain as they plan to relocate to Utah for specialized medical care.
