Woman Challenges Traffic Ticket Due to Physical Disability, Case Dismissed
A woman named Katie, who runs the social media page Slightly Off Balance, was ticketed for allegedly driving with a phone in her right hand. However, Katie does not have a right hand, making the citation questionable. She recorded the interaction with the officer, who insisted he saw her holding the phone. The video, which has gone viral, shows Katie humorously attempting to hold a phone with her nonexistent hand. The officer suggested she take the matter to court, which she planned to do. However, before the court date, the citation was dismissed due to lack of evidence. Katie expressed understanding towards the officer, hoping he would give himself grace for the mistake.
