The crew then returned to the resident's home to install the ramp, ensuring its stability and incline were safe for a motorized wheelchair. This initiative restored the resident's safe access and personal independence, demonstrating the LAFD's commitment to community service beyond traditional emergency responses. The project was supported by power tools donated through the Los Angeles Fire Foundation.
