President Trump's Approval Ratings Decline in Key Battleground States
Eighteen months into President Trump's second term, his approval ratings have declined significantly across key battleground states, according to a Civiqs poll. The data shows that Trump is underwater in every major swing state, including Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, and Ohio. These states, which were either positive or evenly split when Trump took office, now show negative net approval ratings. For instance, Florida has moved from +9 to -12, and Ohio from +8 to -11. Trump's strongest support remains in Republican strongholds like Wyoming and North Dakota, but even there, the margins have decreased since the start of his second term. The demographic breakdown reveals that younger voters, independents, and postgraduates are among Trump's weakest groups, contributing to his overall national disapproval rating of 58%.
