Hermes WebUI Enhances User Experience with New Features and Accessibility
Hermes WebUI, a web-based interface for the Hermes Agent, has introduced several new features aimed at improving user experience and accessibility. The interface, which allows users to interact with the Hermes Agent via a browser, now offers full parity with the command-line interface (CLI), enabling users to perform all terminal functions through the web UI. The system is designed to be lightweight, requiring no additional frameworks or build steps, and is accessible through a secure SSH tunnel. Key features include a three-panel layout for easy navigation, persistent memory across sessions, and the ability to run scheduled jobs while offline. The WebUI supports multiple messaging platforms, allowing users to access the agent from various devices, including smartphones. Additionally, the system is self-hosted, ensuring user data remains private and secure.
