Louisville Man Accused of Kidnapping, Carjacking, and Robbing Dating App Contact
John Wolf, a 45-year-old Louisville man, has been accused of kidnapping, carjacking, and robbing a man he met on the dating app Grindr. Wolf pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to multiple charges, including kidnapping, first-degree robbery, carjacking, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. According to his arrest citation, the incident occurred in July after Wolf and the victim had sex. Wolf allegedly pulled out a handgun, demanded money, and took the victim's PlayStation 5 and Meta glasses. He then forced the victim into his own vehicle and made him drive to an ATM, threatening to kill him if he did not cooperate. The victim withdrew $300 and gave it to Wolf, who then drove the victim's vehicle to another location before fleeing.
