Turkish Defense Ministry Unveils Six Experimental Fighter Engines
The Turkish Defense Ministry has announced the production of six experimental fighter engines, known as the Guchan engines, at its Research and Development Center. These engines, capable of delivering 42,000 pounds of thrust, were unveiled at the Saha Expo. The announcement was unexpected, as there had been no prior indication of the project's development. The engines are part of a broader effort to enhance Turkey's defense capabilities and reduce reliance on foreign technology. The program aims to develop domestic technology and build national capacity in critical defense areas.
