Congressman André Carson and Ivy Tech Host Job Fair to Connect Job Seekers with Employers
U.S. Representative André Carson, in collaboration with Ivy Tech Community College, is organizing an annual career and resource fair on August 12. The event will take place at the Ivy Tech Conference Center in Indianapolis and is open to the public without the need for prior registration. The fair aims to connect job seekers with a variety of employers and community organizations, including notable participants such as Ascension, Citizens Energy Group, and LiUNA 120, a local laborers union. The event will also feature Mirror Indy, a local news outlet, which will provide information about job fairs, training, and career resources through their new text group, The Jobs Line.
