Ronda Boller Secures Republican Nomination for Wyoming House District 52 Seat
Ronda Boller, a nurse, has won the Republican primary election for Wyoming House District 52, narrowly defeating former Rep. Bill Fortner. Boller secured 914 votes, while Fortner received 906 votes, marking a close contest. As of now, there are no Democratic or third-party candidates for this seat, although the independent candidate filing period remains open until August 24. Boller, a fourth-generation Campbell County native, nurse, and small business owner, previously ran for the same seat in the 2022 Republican primary, where she garnered 42% of the vote against incumbent Rep. Reuben Tarver. Her current platform emphasizes maintaining predictable property tax rates without compromising funding for essential services, reducing regulatory burdens on local industries, supporting teacher retention and student extracurricular programs, and expanding access to affordable healthcare for rural residents and seniors.
