Jessica Baker Secures $20K for Re-election Amid Weak Democratic Challenge
Incumbent Representative Jessica Baker has raised over $20,000 for her re-election campaign in Florida's House District 17. Her Democratic challenger, Bryson Morgan, has struggled to gain financial support, raising just over $200 in his first quarter. Morgan, who does not currently reside in the district, has admitted that he lives in Avondale, outside the district he aims to represent. Despite this, he plans to comply with residency requirements by the time of the election. Baker's campaign has received significant support from various Police Benevolent Associations and lobbyist Ron Book.
