Chicago Judge Orders Severance in Adam Toledo Case, Family Plans to Refile Lawsuit

The judge's decision separates the allegations of negligent hiring by the city of Chicago from the claims against Officer Stillman. This ruling means that the allegations against Stillman will proceed first, and only if the Toledo family wins this part of the case will the claims against the city be addressed.
