Great Falls High School to Inaugurate Legacy Alumni Class During Homecoming Weekend
Great Falls High School is set to honor its inaugural Legacy Alumni class during homecoming weekend, scheduled for October 2-3, 2026. The Legacy Alumni Association aims to preserve the school's history, recognize its alumni, and inspire future generations. The inaugural class comprises individuals who have made significant positive impacts in various fields, including service, culture, arts, and athletics, spanning over a century of the school's history. Notable honorees include Josephine Trigg, a member of the first graduating class in 1893; Frank C. Fogarty, a 1942 graduate who commanded the world's first nuclear-powered submarine and is still alive at 102; Alma Smith Jacobs, instrumental in developing the Great Falls Public Library; artist Monte Dolack; wrestlers Bill and Mike Zadick; and Jaymee Sire, a 1998 graduate who became a broadcaster for ESPN and Food Network. The selection process involved committee members researching yearbooks, newspaper articles, and community suggestions.
