Pennsylvania American Water Issues Boil Water Advisory for Clinton County Due to Main Break
Pennsylvania American Water has issued a boil water advisory for approximately 237 customer connections in specific neighborhoods of Clinton County, Pennsylvania, following a water main break in the Appalachian Water District in Woolrich. The affected areas include Sagamore Hills and Crestmont Neighborhoods, specifically along Park Avenue (between Gravel Hill Road and Little Plum Road), East and West Cardinal Drive, Meadow Lark Lane, Partridge Circle, Redwing Road, Oriole Circle, Circle Drive, Crestmont Drive, South Lane, Greenhill Drive, and Harley Drive. The main break caused a loss of positive water pressure, which can allow contaminants to enter the distribution system through back-flow or back siphonage. Repairs are currently underway and are estimated to take about eight hours to complete.
