Ouster BlueCity to Enhance Traffic Management in Atlanta with New Deployments
Ouster, Inc., a leader in sensing and perception technology, has announced the deployment of its Ouster BlueCity traffic management solution at over 30 intersections in the Atlanta area. This initiative, in collaboration with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Southern Lighting & Traffic Systems, aims to modernize traffic infrastructure in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The system integrates Ouster's 3D digital lidar sensors with AI perception software to optimize traffic flow, improve safety, and provide real-time alerts. This expansion follows an initial deployment at six intersections in downtown Atlanta, focusing on high-traffic and pedestrian areas. Ouster BlueCity is part of a broader trend of adopting AI-powered infrastructure solutions across major U.S. cities.
