Angi Bruce Resigns as Head of Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Moves to Governor's Office
Angi Bruce, the first female director of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, has resigned from her position effective immediately. She will transition to a new role in Governor Mark Gordon's office as the director of special policy initiatives. Bruce's resignation follows a tenure marked by both achievements and controversies, including the completion of Wyoming's first pronghorn migration designation and criticism over the location of the Wyoming State Shooting Complex. Eric Wiltanger, the current deputy director, has been appointed as the interim director. The governor's office has not provided specific reasons for Bruce's sudden departure, citing it as a personnel matter.
