President Trump to Discuss White House Correspondents Dinner Shooting on '60 Minutes'
President Donald Trump is set to appear on CBS's '60 Minutes' following a shooting incident near the White House Correspondents' Dinner. The interview, conducted by Norah O'Donnell, will focus on the attempted attack where a gunman was stopped by law enforcement before reaching the Washington Hilton ballroom. The event, attended by President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and other officials, was disrupted as the suspect exchanged gunfire with Secret Service agents. The President, who was evacuated, later held a press conference promising to reschedule the dinner within 30 days and expressed his determination not to let such incidents disrupt societal events.
