Saudia Receives First Airbus A321XLR to Boost Tourism and Business Travel
Saudia has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321XLR, marking a significant milestone as the first Gulf operator of this aircraft. The A321XLR is part of Saudia's broader fleet expansion and modernization strategy, with 15 of these aircraft expected to be delivered by the end of 2027. This new addition is designed to support Saudi Arabia's ambitious goal of attracting over 150 million visitors annually by the end of the decade. The aircraft features 'The New Saudia Experience,' which includes enhanced comfort, connectivity, entertainment, dining, and service consistency. The A321XLR is expected to serve routes across Europe, the Maldives, and Senegal, among others.
