FRACCA Advances Legislative Priorities Amid Refrigerant Policy Changes
The Florida Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRACCA) is actively pursuing legislative and regulatory priorities at both state and federal levels. Throughout July, B&B Capitol Strategies, representing FRACCA, focused on refrigerant policy, federal advocacy, and member engagement. Key activities included participating in industry coalition calls, engaging with political figures like Rep. James Buchanan and congressional candidate Joe Strada, and advocating for policies that support the HVAC industry. FRACCA is also working with Congressman Greg Steube and Senator Rick Scott on federal legislation to adjust the timeline for the R-410A refrigerant transition, aiming for a more practical implementation for contractors and consumers.
