Philadelphia Police Identify, Seek Man in 'Chucky-Style' Mask for Terrorizing Center City
Philadelphia police have identified Zymire Hughes, 22, as the man accused of terrorizing individuals in Center City while wearing a 'Chucky-style' Halloween mask. An arrest warrant has been issued for Hughes, who is believed to have fled Pennsylvania and has ties to California and Nevada. The incidents, which occurred around City Hall, involved Hughes chasing and making threatening comments to people, including a woman he allegedly asked, 'Are you ready to die?' This particular victim sustained severe leg injuries while attempting to escape. Authorities believe Hughes was recording these encounters, possibly for social media content or personal amusement. District Attorney Larry Krasner has publicly condemned Hughes' actions, stating that he is a 'punk' who scared many people for no good reason. Police are collaborating with the U.S. Marshals Service to locate and apprehend Hughes.
