Investigation into Missing Nancy Guthrie Stalled by Inconclusive Forensic Evidence
The investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of 'Today' show co-host Savannah Guthrie, has reached a six-month mark with little progress. A hair sample found at her Tucson, Arizona home was tested but returned inconclusive results. Despite the presence of blood and other DNA evidence, no new leads have emerged. Guthrie was last seen on January 31, and investigators suspect abduction, as ransom notes were received shortly after her disappearance. The case remains active, with local and federal authorities continuing to analyze evidence and pursue leads.
