Krispy Kreme Data Breach Settlement Deadline Approaches, Affected Employees Eligible for Compensation
The deadline for submitting claims related to the Krispy Kreme data breach settlement is fast approaching. Approximately 161,000 current and former employees were affected by a data breach that occurred in November 2024, which compromised personal information such as names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and financial account access information. Those affected have been notified and are eligible to receive compensation as part of a class action lawsuit settlement. Individuals with documented losses can claim up to $3,500, while those without documentation may receive an estimated $75. The deadline to submit claims is June 22, 2026. Additionally, affected individuals who wish to opt out of the settlement to pursue their own legal action must do so by June 6, 2026.
