Her contributions have focused on supporting groups that emphasize collaboration, community building, and equity. This year, Scott has prioritized educational institutions, particularly those serving low-income and underrepresented students, donating approximately $783 million to historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Additionally, she has supported climate research and disaster relief efforts, with significant donations to the Woodwell Climate Research Center and the Climate Breakthrough group. Health care initiatives have also been a focus, with large awards given to organizations like the Jed Foundation, which works on youth suicide prevention.
