North Texas Anticipates Rain and Potential Severe Weather This Week
North Texas experienced a chilly start to Sunday, with morning temperatures in the 30s and 40s. However, the region is expected to warm up quickly, reaching the lower 70s by the afternoon. As the week progresses, temperatures will continue to rise, and rain chances will increase. Showers are anticipated mainly on Tuesday, with isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible by the end of the week. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has identified a slight risk of severe weather affecting Northeast Texas, Arkansas, and Northern Louisiana on Friday. Although this risk only slightly impacts the eastern counties of North Texas, it remains a concern as the week concludes and into the weekend.
