Penn State Extension Hosts Free Agriculture Camp for Youth in Selinsgrove
Penn State Extension is organizing an 'Agriculture Adventures Activity Camp' for children aged 8-12 in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. Scheduled for June 24 and 25, the camp will take place at the Snyder County Penn State Extension office. This free event aims to engage young participants in various agricultural activities, including exploring fiber animals, cattle, poultry, plants, and drones. The camp will also offer hands-on experiences such as making ice cream, learning about milking procedures, creating fiber arts projects, and crafting seed bombs. Additionally, children will have the opportunity to learn about careers for dogs and interact with a drone operator. Registration is required by June 1, and interested participants can sign up through the 4-H ZSuite platform.
