South Korean Intelligence Views Kim Jong Un's Daughter as Potential Successor Amidst Speculation
South Korea's National Intelligence Service (NIS) has assessed that it is credible to consider Kim Jong Un's teenage daughter as his potential successor. This conclusion is based on her frequent public appearances with her father, including military-related events. The NIS director, Lee Jong-seok, conveyed this assessment during a closed-door briefing at the National Assembly, suggesting that the girl, reportedly named Kim Ju Ae, could extend the Kim family's rule into a fourth generation. Despite this, some experts remain skeptical, citing North Korea's male-dominated society and Kim Jong Un's relatively young age as factors that could complicate her succession.
