Morigaon Hosts Inter-State Farm Visit to Promote Sustainable Agriculture
The Department of Agriculture in Morigaon, Assam, organized a two-day inter-state exposure visit for farmers and officials from the ATMA team of Ri-Bhoi District, Meghalaya. The visit aimed to showcase sustainable agriculture practices, maize processing, and integrated farming models. Participants toured various agricultural sites, including a maize processing unit, goatery farm, and integrated farming models. The program also included discussions on market linkages, production techniques, and profitability. The initiative is part of efforts to promote sustainable farming and enhance agricultural productivity in the region.
