Swiss International Flight Aborts Takeoff in India, Injuries Reported
Swiss International flight LX147, an Airbus A330, aborted its takeoff at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport due to an engine issue. The incident occurred early on Sunday, resulting in injuries to four passengers and one crew member. The airline reported that the engine issue led to an emergency evacuation of the aircraft. There were 228 passengers, including four infants, and 13 crew members on board. Following the incident, the airport declared an emergency, but runway operations have since resumed. Swiss International has set up a task force to investigate the incident, and the injured passengers were taken to the hospital.
