New Uluru Kakararra Trail Offers Unique Desert Experience
The Uluru Kakararra Trail, a 34-mile walking route across the Australian desert, has been launched, allowing visitors to camp in the national park surrounding Uluru for the first time. Developed in partnership with the Anangu, the traditional Aboriginal owners, the trail offers a unique perspective on the often overlooked landscapes in Uluru's shadow. Limited to 16 guests, the trail emphasizes light travel and offers impressive views of Australia's ancient desert landscapes. The trail provides an opportunity to experience the cultural significance of the land and its natural beauty.
