LEO Foundation Awards Open Nominations for Global Skin Research Excellence
The LEO Foundation has opened nominations for its annual awards, recognizing outstanding young scientists globally for their contributions to skin research. These awards aim to advance treatments for skin diseases by supporting emerging leaders in dermatology research. Three awards are presented annually, with one for each of the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), and Asia-Pacific regions. Each recipient will receive USD 100,000, providing significant financial support and recognition for researchers with strong potential for future impact in skin research. The awards target scientists between 30 and 40 years of age at the time of the award, with allowances for career breaks. Applicants must have at least five peer-reviewed publications in skin-related research, serving as first author, co-first author, or last author on those publications.
