Artemis II Astronauts to Feature in CBS Mornings Special Live Town Hall
The crew of NASA's Artemis II mission, which recently completed a record-breaking flight around the moon, will participate in a special live town hall on 'CBS Mornings.' The event, titled 'Artemis II: A Celebration of Heroes,' will be moderated by Gayle King and Tony Dokoupil. The astronauts, including commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, and mission specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen, will engage with an audience of aspiring space explorers and answer questions from students. The town hall will also feature appearances by Ron Howard, the director of 'Apollo 13,' and Bill Nye, 'The Science Guy.' The event is scheduled to air on Friday, May 1, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. ET/PT on CBS and Paramount+, with additional availability on CBSNews.com and the CBS News YouTube channel.
