Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Bartholomew County Claims One Life, Injures Three Teenagers
A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on State Road 11 near County Road 800 South in Bartholomew County, Indiana, resulting in one fatality and injuries to three teenagers. The incident, which took place just before 7:30 a.m. on a Thursday, involved a 2009 Pontiac G6 and a 2020 Hyundai Sonata. According to Indiana State Police, a 17-year-old girl from Seymour, driving the Pontiac G6 northbound, crossed the centerline and collided nearly head-on with the southbound Hyundai Sonata, driven by 18-year-old Aparicio Martin-Bartolome, also from Seymour. Both vehicles left the roadway after the collision. Pascual Baltazar-Pascual, a 42-year-old man from Seymour who was a front passenger in Martin-Bartolome’s vehicle, died at the scene.
