Eilat Municipality Develops International Sports Complex to Boost Local Economy and Community Life
The Eilat Municipality, in collaboration with the Eilat Economic Development Corporation, is developing the Eilat International Sports Complex. This project, master-planned by V5 Architects under architect Meidad Gendler, aims to transform Eilat from a resort city into a hub for international sports. The complex integrates elite training facilities, sports medicine, hospitality, and public spaces. The first phase includes three regulation-size soccer fields and a professional team center. The complex also features a Sports Medicine Center with advanced facilities for training and recovery. The next phase will expand the campus with a multipurpose arena, swimming pools, and additional training facilities. The project is designed to support not only athletes but also tourism, economic development, and community life.
