Great Hearts Monte Vista Opens School in Restored Koehler House
Great Hearts Monte Vista, a public charter school, has opened a new schoolhouse in the historic Koehler House in San Antonio, Texas. The property, acquired by developer Weston Urban for $2.3 million, has been transformed into a school with facilities including a library, art and music classrooms, and a sport court. The restoration aimed to preserve the historic character of the mansion while making it suitable for educational use. The school will use the entire property, including a green house and basketball court, for instruction and activities.
