Menlo Park Rotary Club Honors Students at 41st Annual Academic Awards
The Menlo Park Rotary Club recently held its 41st annual academic awards ceremony at the Performing Arts Center of Menlo-Atherton High School. The event celebrated the academic achievements of students from several local schools, including Menlo-Atherton, Eastside Preparatory, Sacred Heart Preparatory, and Menlo School. The ceremony featured performances by the M-A Jazz Band and speeches from notable figures such as past Rotary president Lisa Cesario and current president Ali Irtuk. The event highlighted the Rotary Club's commitment to supporting education, with over $150,000 in scholarships and $50,000 in grants awarded to local nonprofits. Keynote speaker Mikayla Dones, an alum of Eastside Prep and Mills College, delivered a speech on the importance of adaptability in life.
