According to the Cape Cod Chronicle, residents are increasingly aware of the challenges posed by climate change, with many taking proactive measures to mitigate its effects. The survey reveals that 48% of respondents are weatherproofing their properties, while 43% are purchasing generators to prepare for potential power outages. Additionally, 29% are engaging in educational activities to better understand climate change, and 26% are maintaining emergency response kits. The survey also indicates a high level of awareness about energy efficiency, although there remains a reliance on fossil fuels.
