Henderson Residents Raise Concerns Over Proposed Plant and Garden Food Facility
Residents in Henderson's Calico Ridge neighborhood have voiced concerns regarding Jungle Group Inc.'s proposal to establish a plant and garden food facility. The company plans to purchase an abandoned building and an adjacent vacant lot for this purpose. During a community meeting, residents, including Martin Ganley, raised questions about the storage of hazardous materials and potential odors. Ganley highlighted that the application lists approximately 1,000 gallons of phosphoric acid, 1,000 gallons of potassium hydroxide, and 4,000 pounds of potassium nitrate for storage.
