Republican Party of Florida Endorses Wilton Simpson for Agriculture Commissioner Re-Election
The Republican Party of Florida has officially endorsed Wilton Simpson for re-election as Florida's agriculture commissioner. This endorsement adds significant support to Simpson's 2026 campaign, following a unanimous recommendation from the Republican Party of Florida Executive Board. Simpson, who has served as Florida Senate president and is a prominent figure in the state's Republican leadership, has been recognized for his contributions to agriculture, conservation, and public safety. His campaign highlights initiatives such as targeting illegal THC products, land conservation, and Second Amendment protections. Simpson has also received endorsements from notable figures like President Trump, Ashley Moody, Rick Scott, and Scott Franklin, as well as support from 62 out of 67 Florida sheriffs.
